Oxford City 7 - 0 Carterton (06/10/07)

Carterton started the game strongly pushing foward into the City half. After 15 minutes of Carterton pressure, Oxford City picked up their game and were soon ahead thanks to a Steph Kubat goal. This lifted the City girls and Kubat was able to double the City lead soon after. The Carterton goalie made some outstanding saves but was unable to stop a fine shot from Jenny Tatton. Tatton soon doubled her tally by heading in off a corner kick. Cartertons main striker continued to press forward into the City half, but the City defenders including Sharnee Garrett, were always there to hold back the attack. Just before the half time whistle Kubat was able to fire another shot into the back of the Carterton net.

After the break Jenny Tatton continued to press down the right wing and City added to their tally with Kubat finding the goal again. In the dying moments of the game Carterton were penalised for a handball in the area, Kubat converting to complete her 5th and Cities 7th.
